Brad Gardiner

President and Chief Executive Officer

Brad Gardiner is an engineer with over 30 years of heavy oil experience, including being Vice-President of BlackRock Ventures Inc. from 1999 until BlackRock was sold to Shell Canada in 2006. Prior to that, he held various positions over nine years with Koch Exploration Canada Ltd., a privately held integrated oil and gas company.  This included being Vice-President of Production, responsible for Koch’s Canadian operations.


 

Kennedy Kohlman

Chief Operating Officer

Kennedy Kohlman is a petroleum engineering technologist with more than 20 years of oil and gas experience, primarily in heavy oil.  Prior to joining Prosper, he held the position of Production Foreman with BlackRock Ventures Inc. for eight years.  Mr. Kohlman spent eight years with Koch Exploration Canada Ltd. and has worked for various oil and gas companies that produce from the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.


 

Kristen Ekdahl

Chief Financial Officer

Kristen Ekdahl is a chartered accountant with more than 20 years of industry experience.  Prior to joining Prosper, she was the Vice-President, Finance with Daylight Resources Trust following the merger with Sequoia Oil & Gas Trust where she held the position of Controller.  Prior to that, Ms. Ekdahl held various financial reporting positions with publicly traded trusts and Canadian corporate subsidiaries in the oil and gas sector.  This included over 10 years within the Koch Industries Inc. Canadian operations.


 

Carrie Cochran

Vice-President, Stakeholder Affairs

Originally trained as a geologist, Carrie Cochran has worked the past 15 years as a regulatory and community affairs specialist, primarily in heavy oil.  Prior to joining Prosper, Ms. Cochran held the position of Manager of Regulatory, Compliance and Stakeholder Affairs at BlackRock Ventures Inc.  Prior to that, she spent five years as the Regulatory and Community Affairs Coordinator for EnCana Corporation’s thermal recovery group, responsible for coordinating the Environmental Impact Assessments and community consultation.
